President's Comments
We formed the Downingtown Running Club because of our love of running and our desire to support local runners and the community. We all run for different reasons: exercise, stress relief, socializing, motivation, you name it, we feel running can play an important part in whatever your goal is.
The beauty of running is that it truly is for everyone. Whether you're shooting for a marathon PR, looking to finish a 5K, needing to drop a few pounds or simply wanting to contribute to your favorite runners' success, everyone has different goals, and we're here to help you achieve them. Downingtown Running Club is committed to growing and contributing to our local running community and we'd love to have you as a member. Run with it. All welcome.

Michael Harshany

"You have to wonder at times what you're doing out there. Over the years, I've given myself a thousand reasons to keep running, but it always comes back to where it started. It comes down to self-satisfaction and a sense of achievement." - Steve Prefontaine

Have you visited the message board? See who's running when and where. Post when and where you are running to invite others to join you. Or post anything for the fun of it!! also...
